It has really been a while since I updated the announcements...better start timestamping stuff! -- May 19th, 2011
But actually I stopped because my announcements are too trivial and nonsensical to be worth remembering.

I found this patch for steam that supposedly gives you every game for free. I dl'd it, and now all the games are in My Games, but when I try to install them, most give me a "The Steam Servers are currently too busy to handle your Request. Please try again later." The only ones I've had success with so far are Counter-Strike and TF2. Does anyone have experience with this at all?
EDIT:TF2 finished Installing but it won't work when I try to actually play it.

Don't expect to be able to play any of the games you get this way Steam can and will block you from being able to play the games.

My friend used the same patch on his laptop and DL any games he could. He couldn't play any games even the ones he got legally.

Counter-Strike kinda quit halfway through the dl, and tf2 dl'd but doesn't work right. All the games that I already had still work though

portal that i got for free back in like march, and a bunch of those games that you guys got for free, e.g. hl2 deathmatch, lost coast, etc.
