Light streams from a small circular pane high above, but the only windows near ground level are narrow slits through which only arrows or bolts could pass.
The deep voice of "Papa Legba" booms out once more, echoing off the cavernous room's walls.
"I'M OFFERING YOU ONE LAST CHANCE TO GIVE UP YOUR FRUITLESS STRUGGLE. SUBMIT TO MY MINIONS HERE AND...YOUR SUFFERING WILL BE LESSENED."
One of the women appears to be making a subtle hand waving motion.

Amos stills himself and prepares for the continuance of battle.

"Touka ... shatter that ceiling pane, somehow."

Amos steps out from cover with sword and glove ready. He yells out to the woman and her lackeys:

"ENOUGH! Dispel your twisted illusions and this mockery of voodoo. My companion and I have proved that your best hope is a Pyrrhic victory. You are brigands and barons of thievery using glamors to stay safe in your hideout."

At Amos' bold declaration the two women start to whisper and make gestures at each other. It could be quite a rousing discussion on the sanity of the two adventurers who have decided to challenge their stronghold with all its power.
[Pausing if Touka wishes to act]

More hurried whispering and gesturing occurs. Then the voice booms out again.
"VERY WELL. PREPARE TO EXPERIENCE THE WRATH OF A GOD! JUST WATCH OUT FOR THE NE- ack"
The voice cuts off abruptly. The woman on the right (from your perspective) raises a hand, and the cloaks and the armored figure rush forth.

Amos speeds through a series of distinct hand gestures with his gloved hand to send a mortal strike at the cloaked figure with his levitating blade.

[Using the the glove article to move and attack with the blade through space via magic.]

Amos' glove glows with arcane power. He launches his blade, but the magic does not seem to take hold of it. The sword flips hilt up before clattering to the floor a short distance in front of him.
The woman on the right laughs as the cloaks and armor slow their approach. "Oh, you are surrendering now? Perhaps let your friend know so she can do the same." The voice is deep and rich, but seems distinct from Papa Legba's.

"Why don't you surrender first?" Touka starts pumping her body full of adrenal stimulants to increase her reflexes and strength in preparation for the coming attacks.

Two metallic pings can be heard on the floor behind them. There does not appear to be anything under the cloaks and the armor but they are only about 15 feet from Amos and Touka now.

Amos steps forward, and the cloak directly in front of him also rushes forth. He manages to grab his sword and backs up before it can make contact.
The armor steps up and motions to swing at Touka's right...

Two more pings can be heard, followed by faint cursing from the balustrade. Touka deflects the suit's longsword with ease.

Rather than slowing down from her missed swing she continues to go around in a 360 degree spin to build momentum behind her swing, and on her way back around aims her club at the armors torso this time.

(He also contemplates his own stupidity at attempting magically handle a sword bearing an anti magic trinket)

It was all exactly as planned. Touka spins to win as Amos' sword also speaks in the guttural tongue of violence.

Amos' weapon cleaves right through a cloak, the entirety of which seems to become heavily distorted from the strike before exploding into nothingness.
The armor has already stepped back but Touka's spin extends the club's reach just enough for the tip to glance off the breastplate. It doesn't appear to be affected at all.

Something small and silver pierces Amos' side. It looks like a long needle, but Amos feels no pain at its entry nor its presence.

Amos tries to see from where the obviously lethal shard of metal originated from.

"Poison! Aff, no end to the games and tricks!"

The shard was apparently thrown at him by the woman on the balcony to the right. From what he can make out of her in the low light she appears to be wearing some sort of tribal ceremonial garb with a bared midriff.
