Due to the factors of boredom and feeling forever alone, I decided to test the effects of this 'ruffie' drug I was given by a fellow passing traveller. I do not actually remember what happened last night while I was under the effect of the drug (I suspect most likely because of the drug's effect) and I feel as if I have lost the remainder of the drug I was carrying due to the lack of weight in my pocket. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused you and wish to make up for my blunder in any way I can"

I am "Atmos", spelled with a "@" at least that is the alias that I hold when traveling. We find it disrespectful to be addressed by our assigned name unless we are talking to one of our own. The Vance-Ren man you found is also from out town, he goes by the name of Poo. The female is usually called Kaede.

@dick: The two violet squarish suns make it difficult to tell empirically, although your biological instincts tell you it is morning.

@Kai-Wario: You find Standing Bull at the gate of the palisade. He is not fat and does not demand an entrance fee from you. Instead he tells you: "You done? Good. Here." He hands you a shovel. "You see two wood piece out beyond edge of field? You go there, dig some holes for make water. Make sure each at least 2 feet deep and wide enough to fit person."

@NinAmos: Which way do you guys go? It is roughly noon. There is the dirt road you came in on, a paved road perpendicular, the farm fields and the forest beyond, and thin weeded hills in the last cardinal direction, for lack of a better word.

Take some rufies n chew em up.
Store saliva in cheek pouch, to prevent the effects from kicking in immediately.
Start running with arms flailing in the other direction.

The second was the young man who spoke to you earlier, who is carrying a basket and was just walking past the metal flagpole in the center of the settlement.

A swift runner carrying a bag runs through the gate towards the chief's residence.

@felix: The 3 people you met earlier are back at the lake, cutting down trees. You don't see anyone else. Are you going back to them or just wandering?

With my face mask in my deep deep pockets, I flip my clothing inside out, and my pants too. I stow my spear and my bow nearby, carrying only some sharp sticks and my tomahawk.
I go up to them and greet them like I've never seen them before speaking in eloquent and flowery language, asking if they need some help, and ask for directions to the nearest city.

The old man makes a sad face. "Sorry, sir, but I believe we just saw you, or your alter ego, making a mess of yourself. It would be unwise for us to trust your impaired judgment with weapons, even if you were willing to pay for them. I hope you understand. And uh, there is no dirt road there, but that way leads across the border to the Eastern Lands."

"We're heading the way that Maestro saw our friends go earlier, in hopes we can find a native community to preach to and enlighten with THE WAYS of Mormonism. Would you like to accompany us?"

The hobo thinks. "Your friends...they passed through this way....yes, I think I will go with you."

"Thats fine, may I have some alms then? I seem to be lacking some necessary supplies for survival."

@Kai-Wario: It is late afternoon when you finish. Standing Bull arrives. "You finally done? Good. Now go study for math test and get duh A out into field and help farmer collect herd manure.

@mos: You arrive at a 4-way intersection in the road.

Walks towards the small town old man speaks of, making a detour to pick up my bow and bone spear on the way.

"I realize that I must pay for my crimes against the peace, but I am a human too. I can't work without something to run on. I require sustenance to be able to function, just as everyone else does. Is there a place in town where I may be able to find some food?"
