Continue down road with hobo and Maestro.

@Kai-Wario: He grunts. "Evening meal is in few hours. When other farmers go in you follow."

@amos: The road directly in front of you is larger than the rest and has lane markings. The terrain around it is much the same as what you've already seen, but there are small green mountains to the sides and in the distance. The road to your left has a large warning sign with exclamation marks and script you cannot read. The road to your right leads into progressively more gravelly terrain with less plant life. There is a direction post at the intersection, from which you can glean that there are definitely human settlements on the straight road and the road to your right.

@Vroopmaster: After walking for a while, you see a rural farming village, moderately sized fields surrounding a wooden wall. Several people are out in the fields with implements, one is driving a few of what look like oxen.

Breathes deeply, taking in the air.
"Oh man, smells like the Gospel"
Goes to the oxen man in an attempt to convert him.

@amos: You continue walking, your shoes making a soft impact against the asphalt. It is getting dark.

@Vroopmaster: The man continues to drive the beasts without stopping. He shakes his head at you. "Wo...wo bu shi jian shuo hua..."

@Kai-Wario: You start shoveling manure. A farmer drops some on your pants halfway through.

OOC: ME THERE YET?

@felix: No. It is now early evening and the sun has set. You feel a slight chill.

@Kai-Wario: The farmers stop working and head inside the palisade to a large building that you learn is the great hall. The smells are mouth watering. A plump matron hands you a bowl of beef and carrot soup and a plate of rice and peas.

BE A MAN and just chug it down. If it's too hot, just TANK it. Go back and ask for seconds.

Go into the trees and sleep, until the sun comes back up.

Spout tolerant Mormon rhetoric at the oxen driver while shaking my finger at him, while inviting him to my family night in the meantime.

Have Maestro and hobo approach oxen driver from both sides with warm smiles and arms outstretched. Approach the driver myself in the same manner to form a triangle of love and understanding, blocking off any possible escape routes from our enlightened embrace.

@Vroopmaster: The hobo doesn't go along with your plan, allowing the man to escape into the town. It was getting late anyway.

@amos: You feel a little sleepy, but keep walking. The 3 or 4 moons, you can't quite tell, are out and rising so you are not in deep darkness.

Give the hobo an understanding lecture on the merits of promoting Mormonism and why he should not let our quarry escape us.

Walk into the village to meet the residents and find a place to sleep. Sing hymns with Maestro and the hobo while doing so, while keeping time by tapping on my titanium cross.

OOC: sorry haven't been posting lately busy.

IC: She helps amos by looking for loose pieces of wood and stones to make a fire.

OOC: I'm not forcing you to do anything, I personally would not choose to sleep then.

@mos(impaler): You find some small shrubs standing only a few inches above the ground in your immediate vicinity. Farther off are some grassy hills.

@nina: You gather some short sticks. How do you make the fire?

@Vroopmaster: The hobo doesn't appear to be interested in what you're saying. It seems all the residents are in the large central building in the middle of the village.

@Kai-Wario: You get more food. It's just nice for a real man.

@felix: You turn in for a nice nap.

Wait until amos picks where we shall sleep for the night before starting the fire.

"Well, sleeping out in the middle of nowhere isn't the safest thing, we should press on a bit more at least until a safer looking set of bushes show up"

@amos: I don't know what your criteria for a safer looking bush is, but they are pretty much the same all around.

@larry: I'm confused, you go down the road and then turn around?

The tallest bush you can find is a foot and a half tall. The grassy hills might also be nice to sleep on.

OOC: I did not prepare for someone repeatedly yelling "ONWARDS" in the middle of nowhere at night time, but I'll accommodate.

@mos: Your inspiring shouts and searching do not find anything new. Besides Nina but supposedly she was with you the whole time. You hear odd noises in the distance and crickets start to chirp around you.

@Kai-Wario: Standing Bull thinks. "Yes, I believe you do your part. You...absolved of crime." He shakes your hand. "Now be a man."

*stand up straight with a stoic face and TANK HIS WORDS

"by the way, is there anywhere in town where I can earn some coin?"

Walk through the doors of the main building shouting,
"I HAD A DREAM. THAT THE YELLOW PEOPLE, AND THE BROWN PEOPLE, AND THE MORMON PEOPLE COULD ALL PLAY POKER TOGETHER. IN THE SAME ROOM, WITH THE SAME BLUE CHIPS. LIKE BOSSES. AND EAT BAGELS. LIKE BOSSES."

At this point the very stylish Vroopmaster enters the Great Hall. The villagers all stare blankly at him for a few seconds, then resume their conversations and activities.

@mos: You see several furred, quadruped creatures approaching your position. You can tell that they have sharp jaws and are larger than domesticated cats.

@Kai-Wario: "Difference is obvious. Vance coin good in Vance, Clansmen coin good in Alzibec. Not good other way round. Also, Vance use some paper money."

"hmmm..... what jobs are there that can earn me vance coin then?"

Standing Bull thinks for a moment. "Helitrutta!" he calls. A young man in elaborate native costume walks over. They converse shortly in a language you've never heard before. The young man turns to you.
"Well, the primary Vance funded positions here are share cropping," he says to you, "but that takes time and commitment, and you may not get your pay for at least a few months. If you want something with a more timely payoff, you should probably go talk to the officer stationed here. He's almost always in his guard shack, next to the colonial flagpole."

"I give you my thanks"
*heads to the officer
"Hello, my name is KARVIN!!!. Yes, with the capitals and the exclamation points that you can somehow derive from how I say it. I heard from Standing Bull that I may be able to aquire a job from you."

He looks up from his desk with bags under his eyes and a weary face, despite his apparent youth.

"Ugh...Fus- I mean, whatever you want, can it wait until tomorrow? I just want to sleep now after I finish this last minute beughasdthing...I really shouldn't have been doing skyrim for 12 hours straight..." He scribbles something down lazily and goes to sleep in front of you.

*grab his shoulders and shake him back and forth
"C'MON!!! ARE YOU NOT A REAL MAN? WAKE UP... IF YOU FEEL WEARY, YOU JUST HAVE TO TANK YOUR WEARINESS... fine if you intend to sleep, at least tell me where I may find some place to rest"

@Kai-Wario:
"Eh...I have a spare room with a bed in the back...or you could ask one of the villagers for some 'hospitality' if you know- uh, whatever. You'll get your little quest later....g'night." He slumps back asleep.

@felix: A thump in the night wakes you. You smell something burning and wake up to find a that a small meteorite a few feet in diameter has crashed near your perch, and has set the surrounding foliage aflame. The base of the tree you are perched on begins to smolder and burn.

@mos: A small metallic object drops to the ground next to you.

The two creatures come closer and you can clearly see them now: They are large yellow feline type creatures that remind you of someone. They might have large mouths, but they haven't opened them within your sight yet. As they get closer you can hear them purring softly.

*sleep in the bed in the back (plz tell me when it's morning)

I am holding my ground, stance ready until they are within 5 seconds of me (based on their speed and distance) - check again with me when they are that close.

Kick durt all ovar tha mediorite to smolder eet.
Try to extract it once its cooldoown.
Look at sky, it day? No? Find another tree. Yes? Continue onto toown.

Walk to an authority figure and ask him where I can find lodging for Maestro, the hobo and myself.

@felix: Your feet get slightly singed as you jump onto the flaming ground, but no significant damage. The meteorite is too heavy to carry as a whole.

@mos: They are now at what you would guess is 5 seconds away. You hear that at least one is behind you as well, also about 5 seconds away.

OOC: omg I have to do the chief's shtick again

@Vroopmaster: You are brought to the chieftain of the village, sitting in a large wooden chair in the dining hall, a man of medium height, wearing khaki pants, a thin hide vest, and a red feather headdress.

"You aren't the first strangers to arrive here today, we've received quite a crowd now, in comparison to most days. I will tell you the same that I told the others: It is our custom for travelers to sleep upon the earth in the open air, but if you would feel uncomfortable doing so then ask for lodgings with the Vance physician or officer. As for food, it is right here before you. Take as much as you'd like."
He bows to you and extends his hand.
"Welcome to Three Pines, friends. I am Sanguratlus(Blood Eagle) to Clansmen, Xue-Niao to Vance-ren. You may address me by whatever name is easiest for you."
