Church of ProZ Game Name Cryptonyms

The Church of ProZ administration has provided a list of recommended game name cryptonyms for our community to use, where displaying the game's name might be disadvantageous. Many of these may already exist, or be common sense for those in our community. The cryptonyms already in use have been deemed reasonably confusing for the non-gamer, and have not been further altered. The following pictures are a comparison of a USB folder first without, and then with cryptonyms in place.

As you can see, the folder utilizing cryptonyms is a great deal more unassuming than the folder not utilizing cryptonyms. The presence of popular programming language names and ambiguous acronyms deters most haxx illiterate adults from opening the folders, due to their inherent fear of all things 'under the hood'. Unless the adult in question is a compsci teacher, then he might actually be MORE interested in the folders, and open them to see what you're coding at the moment.

We the administration realize you may already have such precautions in place, however unnecessary and paranoid, and are simply providing a pre-fabricated list for your convenience.

The cryptonyms themselves are either the names of programming languages, or string of three characters, occasionally preceded by a one letter prefix. The cryptonyms consisting of three or four characters will also stand for an imaginary organization, which adds another layer of depth to the code. You are encouraged to use these organization names in everyday speech, for the extra lulz. All cryptonyms have been designed to be both intuitive for those in the know, and completely unintelligible for non-haxxors.
