This should be on the lists, anyway I do love Negima. The first chapters are a tad boring but the more recent ones are excellent.

thats why those are no longer great anime

Thats because now adays its all prequels. Those are so pointless, we know who's going to live and die, and if they introduce brand new characters we don't care about them at all because we know the either die or have no effect on the overarching plot.
