It has really been a while since I updated the announcements...better start timestamping stuff! -- May 19th, 2011
But actually I stopped because my announcements are too trivial and nonsensical to be worth remembering.

There are very occasionally dubs where the voices are better though - dbz is actually a good example; The goku voice in japanese sounds awful.

Though cuz they are dubs and the people were originally drawn talking in japanese the mouth to sound correlation is bad.

oh I got one! in FMA they have a sub for a line of Alphonse after he had been possessed by the Homunculus Pride. and the sub says and I quote "The Homunculus Pride came inside me. It felt icky"

From the Umineko Anime. This is what made me stop watching it instantly because I found it too stupid and overwhelmingly sexually-creepy to even take seriously.

well first up get some background knowledge, then anime is good in itself, this is just from the first arc. He has a semi understandable reason of doing this, and it isn't really a spoiler. He does this as an icebreaker and he expects to get slapped each time, but it can make conversation. The whole first part of the first arc has like no plot. In the VN it is REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY slow to begin with then it picks up.

CUZ THE FIRST ARC IS TOO SLOW. just cuz the rest of it is good does not mean that the first arc is excusable. Jesus I mean it was like 3 hours of fast clicking and part skimming part reading all that character development. And that was only up until the umbrella. Then they had another background development intermission, then the letter, then ANOTHER background development set. Then "mysterious" butterflies at night. Then in the morning there was more background development, not until after the corpses are found does the boring as powerofpoo background development tone itself down.

I figured, the anime episodes themselves for that arc were boring, mainly when they were talking about her depression, that whole piece didn't interest me.

oh but you can see why the anime sucks, now: not enough episodes to accurately convey the story. the proz of that is NO FILLER. EVER.

no really, I hate filler, unless they do something surprisingly good that could be its own oneshot for an A rank manga or anime. Like take jing for instance, all it is is one shots , typically 1 , maybe 2 stories per volume. Yet it is freaking awesome because they don't need to do character development with the main character, but you get used to him and how he steals awesome sh1t.
