For goodness' sake everyone. Why all the hysteria about vampires? All I see is one brutal murder and a dead, half eaten pillar.

Now what makes you think that vampires half-eat people? Why would they ever half-eat someone? I was under the impression that the most widely accepted modern vampire interpretation is that they are harmless but potentially sparkly supernatural beings.

I propose we all gather here at dawn and see if anyone sparkles in the new day's light. That'll prove to everyone there's no vampires.

And anyway, if there are any vampires, let's not be suspicianating each other without good reason to be suspicianating. I vote that we do not kill one another until we at least have good reason to believe it wasn't:

A) A drunk group of cannibals.
B) The infamous Japanese grizzly bear.
or C) The elusive but deadly Shinto Super Squirrel.

Ok, so I don't actaully believe in the squirrel, but we don't have any more reason to believe that trabaharis was killed by the Shinto Squirrel than we do vampires. Has anyone heard anything about his body being drained of blood? Distinctive fang marks? No, I have not heard anything of the sort. Let's not kill today.

IC: "Some studies have shown there to be an evolution of vampires called Gouls who actually eat corpses but they are corpse like and almost mindless beasts and as far as I can tell no one here is trying to eat us. Just incase no one here knows the stps in a vampires evolution are The Dead which are basically zombies, Gouls ,which I have explained already, The living dead which are vampires who regained there will and some of there memories and are more human like in appearance but are somewhat weaker than a the first stage, the last stage ,the vampire, has fully regained there memories and has gained the ability to make minions of there own and have the potential to become a Dead Apostle. Although rare in certain cases there are persons known to skip the goul and living dead state and become full fleged vampires because they had enough magical potential to not lose there mind. A young girl some time age was able to do this but as far as I know she has either been eliminated or is in another city. This is just my guess but this vampire is either at the living dead or vampire state...so please take caution going home tonight."

After the speech she leans back in her chair and flips through some old notes.

Ok, so without divine intervention, there's no way zedslayer could possibly sway the vote, so its no kill for today.

Chapter 1 - NIGHT

Darkness descended on the small village in the mountains. The townspeople turned in to sleep, but some were just waking up...

If we wait a night we will have quietly let someone be slaughtered by this aberration, here we risk killing one of our own, but at night the monster does not risk killing himself, we will be throwing away a great chance to kill the vampire".

Yeah screw this, upon request I am starting Day 2 early, suck it up.

Chapter 2 - DAY


The sun rose on the normally quiet town. This morning, the townspeople went about their business with worried looks, wondering if the vampires had struck again. It turned out they had(duh). The body of Kaede was found lying in an abandoned alleyway by a police patrol, drained of blood. There were scars down her back that formed words, what looked like "GO FOR THE A" in capital letters, and what looked curiously like a carrot was violently shoved down her throat. Whoever did this, the sheriff concluded, clearly had developed a perverse sense of humor from the intoxication of being the most powerful being in the territory. The autopsy showed signs of what the village doctors termed "half-demonic" heritage, revealing that she was the secret Head of the Tohno Clan. Having lost one of their best hopes for the town, the council members were immediately called up to answer the pleas of the people for salvation from the unholy threat.

We can all see there are vampires here. Today the corpse was found drained of blood. Anyone would be a fool to suspect vampires are not to blame. However, that does not change the fact that only a fool would have thought a vampire was to blame yesterday. Look at the evidence: a half-eaten body. Does that mean that vampires are to blame? Certainly not! For that reason, I will not apologize to you for mistakenly believing that vampires were not the culprits.

I have no idea what I have said to give you such a strong impression of me being a vampire, of all things. It would be a grave mistake to hang me today. You appear to be highly irrational at the moment. Why does the situation we're in right now conflict with my logic? I merely said that yesterday we had zero evidence of the killers being vampires. Today we do. Maybe you could share why you are so suspicious of me?

Unless lugen speaks his mind, i shall suspect him. his silence is disturbing and surely on of that of a killer. The same applies to bigz. Neither of them have actually made any attempt to speak their mind beyond a cursory accusation.

I also fail to see how kaede not being a hermaphrodite has anything to do with growing balls of whatever, but she has been murdered so I suppose I'll let her rest in peace.

Bigz has shown no reason to be suspected. He has to make a living like the rest of us, and it isn't his fault that his job requires a bit more time than usual.
Who are you to treat a newcomer to our village with more suspicion than usual? Bigz has been here for quite a while already, long before these attacks began, so he should be given the benefit of the doubt.
I have no suspicion of Bigz at all.

On the other hand, a blood-stained shirt is nothing to ignore in this situation...

Since you came to me alone, I had reason to believe that you did not want others to hear our conversation, which is a very suspicious thing in general.
But, despite all this I have no reason to suspicion you, Dave. Even though you may be very bitter towards the villagers, and eager to shut them up for good...
Besides, Dave doesn't look like he would be even capable of "butchering a cow", let alone a Trabaharis.
