The A List
Carrot: go for the A!! *does a*
1. True Remembrance <vn>: Best freeware visual novel EVER. READ IT. NAO. Set in a dystopian future where the psychic disease called the Dolor ravages the planet, and Mnemonicides, the fabled memory killer elite doctors, are the only cure.
2. Kara no Kyoukai <ova+ln>: The adventures of Ryougi Shiki. OVA gives badass a new form.
3. Double Arts <mo>: Pretty original manga that got canceled after like 10 chapters. Screw Shonen Jump.
4. Umineko no Naku Koro Ni <vn+a+ln>: pure h4x. you will need an incredibly resilient mind to take this on.
5. Vagabond <mo>: Historical fiction. Upon Recommendation of Darkgenesis. I'll read this when I'm more mature. I hear its about Musashi Miyamoto.
6. Tsukihime <vn+mo+...nothing else.>: You all know the corporate juggernaut that is Fate/Stay Night. Now see the darker side of Kinoko Nasu, back when type moon was still a dojin group writing porn games.
7. Ranma 1/2 <eda+flm+ova>: Upon recommendation of Darkgenesis. It might seem rather stereotypical but for its time it was pretty cool, its an old series.
8. Stein's Gate <idc>: Upon recommendation of a bunch of people. Maybe. Maybe.
9. Canaan <ao>: Read 428
10. Parasyte <mo>: I just liked this so much, sure it has a generic protagonist, but the potential....
11. Tower of God <manhwa webtoon>: Upon recommendation of Dinasmemrys and Darkgenesis. I read the continuity up to the current chapter, and I wholeheartedly agree. Stories like these contain some of the same appeal that draws me to the science fiction genre. And I mean REAL science fiction, not just fantasy stories thinly disguised as space opera.

Re: The A List
Comment on Ranma 1/2 for those who have only read some of it, it is an ecchi martial arts comedy manga, it is good at being an ecchi martial arts comedy manga, it is NOT good for being a deep thought manga, don't try to rank it that way.

Re: The A List
Tsukihime is extremely popular in japan and thus, should go into the B list

Re: The A List
Ok, but ask a random person when we go back to school what Tsukihime is. In case you haven't noticed, (America == Japan) = False

Re: The A List
excellent demonstration of how you've forgotten everything we learned last year in comp sci, mm. the fact that america does not equal japan is false? that means america==japan, nub.

Re: The A List
One more error: the single equals sign is a variable assignment, not an equivalency state. don't be so quick to finish. that's what she said.
ANYWAYS.
I guess maybe I will switch tsukihime to B rank.

Re: The A List
if (America && Japan)
System.out.println("TRUE!")
if(!(America && Japan))
System.out.println("FALSE!")
....
Console:
FALSE!

would be more efficient to use else instead of a second if

Re: The A List
Double arts was really good. I didnt really understand why they canceled it. I mean, it just got to the good part and they canceled it.
I think Until Death Do Us Part should be added to this. Even though it has several cliches, the realistic art style and original plotline makes it pretty good.

Re: The A List
I think Tower of God might actually be A list material. If you haven't read it, please note that it can be unbearable to actually start (1st few chapters are boring) but is really good when you finish all of 1st arc. The art also improves as the series continues.
T.T fanbase so small that there are barely any fanfics for it.
