Prey 2017

From the trailers and reviews, Prey seems to be an action-horror game with an interesting story. Combat looks kind of like doom, and the atmosphere is said to be reminiscent of Bioshock or Alien Isolation (MIMICS), but also with a cool unique weapon like from Half-Life 2. Similar to Deus Ex, you can circumvent certain portions of enemies, or even puzzles, by picking the right route. Also, it has crafting and upgrades. And space-walking.

One unique weapon, the GLOO Cannon, allows you to create temporary terrain or stun monsters - https://youtu.be/MP7UV2Ez_jE?t=3m50s. Other cool stuff includes "black-hole" grenades.

The perk system is split between human and alien perks, and investing too heavily in the alien perks has real consequences for gameplay

Just like Mass Effect, you can play as the male or female version of Morgan Yu, but I'm not sure if that influences dialogue or not. Morgan seems to be a silent character (except when you're seeing yourself talk through recordings).

There seems to be very few cutscenes, with a lot of the character interaction and dialogue happening in game.
