Re: Wait! It's dangerous out there, take two!
Dubshredda scratches his head. The prospect of treasure for smashing the squishy thing entices him to do this "cleaning" but he doesn't know what "cleaning" means. "Yus squishy ting, I 'nd my orks will kuh-lean the ship. No apo-logs 'doe, da stronges don't gotta apo-log fer bein strong. Ork kul-tur it is. Teeny painted paper don't madda, I go kuh-leen."
Dubshredda goes to the lower halls to round up his orks. He walks through the hall banging his big choppa on the walls and yells out loud "ARITE BOYZ, I'M DA BOSS 'ND I'M TELLIN YA TO KUH-LEAN!"

"Firsa chuckles hearing Dubshredda call Tanurom weak. 'We'll see if he still thinks it's weak after the next time Tanurom fires up its weapons' she muses.
'Aten, I want half of your Necrons supervising the cleaning orkz and the other half supervising the others. That should leave one Necron to every two cleaners or every 20 others. Every 10 Necrons are to report to an Eldar pilot to make sure that repairs go smoothly.
Now that that is in order, let's discuss this list. I want to hear each of your opinions before I speak further.'

Dubshredda goes off and starts mustering the boys for this "cleaning" thing. After a while all the orks get into it (whatever it is) and it proves to be just as destructive and rambunctious as before. The Necrons sent out and already out have as much success as they did before in quieting the nonsense

Re: Wait! It's dangerous out there, take two!
Dubshredda mucks about the cruiser halls and contemplates his next objective. He has his boyz and they are on a strange and uninteresting ship (for lack of bits) with even stranger squishy tings and moving bits. As he reflects on the squishy thing's words he has a sudden realization.
Dubshredda hustles around the lower halls of the ship and issues orders to the orks to stay down below. He tells them they have to stay down there if they want to fight and plunder. He lets his commands (read: WAAAGH! field) do their work and as sure as his position as boss the boyz group together in the lower decks and recesses of the Tanurom. Following the completion of his orders Dubshredda returns to the others once more. He peeks his head around the archway to spy on the Kaptin squishy thing and her people. Then he steps forward into the room yet again.
"Hello again squishy 'ting! Da boyz did da kuh-lean-ing 'nd I put 'em all in da bottom of dis krooza. Way I sees it my boyz be orky don bee-low 'nd yur people be squishy 'tings up 'ere. Dat' way yur krooza kan take us ta a new plannit. Now 'ow 'bout dat treazure eh?"

"I fear that i am not as educated about these artefacts as I should be, Captain. Many of these are unknown to me, most probably some sort of human relic. There are items here which we are almost certainly unable to gather. We should focus on those which are easiest first, and build up our power until we can take on the more challenging tasks."

"'Excellent work Dubshredda, once again you've proven yourself a mighty boss. My fellows tell me that we may have to go over some cleaning tips in the future, but no matter, you tried your best. I hope you reflected on your mistakes during the process. Now for your reward!'
Firsa reaches under her bed and pulls out something unimaginably shiny. On this dazzling necklace, fit just right for a bulging ork neck, gleam a row of shimmering teeth. When the teeth rotate in the air, they cast sparkling dots of all colors over every surface of the room.
'This is wraithbone. We sing it into any shape we desire, just like you and your boyz sing. Tanurom helped get the details right so it reflects the light just so.' She gently spins one of the teeth and the room glows pleasantly with scattered rainbows. 'For you, mighty Dubshredda. May you always remember Captain Firsa, dancer of the stars.'"

Dubshredda takes the necklace into his hand and inspects it closely. He watches the wraithbone teeth slide down the string and between his fingers. He turns his eyes upwards to look at Firsa and the others, then returns to studying the necklace. He exhales out of his nose and works the necklace over his hat and around his neck. "Dis iz gud bizzness udder Kaptin. Me not so undershtand wut 'rayeth-bone' iz but teef iz teef. Per'aps squishy Fursha got sum orky kno wats atterall." Dubshredda props himself up with his back straight and must be at least eleven feet tall when positioned like this. "Talkin bout bizzness, wut you 'nd yur walky bit decide on?"

"The Lord Phaeron would never outright lie. However, he may deal with you in a less than honest manner. He is very likely to twist some small detail of wording to avoid handing over the craftworld. Or perhaps he would give you the craftworld, and then murder you immediately after."
Aten straightens up to his full height, but is disappointed to see that Dubshredda remains taller.
"That being said, I do not believe he expects us to gather this full list. Our mission is likely more of a diversion for him, something to watch every so often for humor's sake. By the time we manage to fulfill his wishes, we will have gathered so much strength that he may deal with us as equals. Now, what item do you propose we work towards first? I am inclined to believe that an Imperial Knight Warden is one of the easier to obtain. Perhaps we can find one lost in a space hulk, or on a deserted battlefield. In a worst case scenario, we could always build up a large army and attack a human planet to draw one out.

Aten glances at Dubshredda for a moment, then moves in closer to Firsa and murmurs, in basic, but passable Eldar, "While Dubshredda isn't incorrect, we may want to avoid bringing on more of his brethren. Many times we Necrons have used a simple and powerful strategy. We find a planet largely untouched by other races and introduce ourselves to the primitive inhabitants. It is easy to convince them of our divinity, and we soon have a whole planet's worth of loyal, even fanatical soldiers. We can equip them with more powerful weapons slowly, but first we need the bodies."

In the mean time, we are going on a little detour. As much as I hate to admit it, this craftworld is far bigger than me. It's time for me to have a chat with grandpa Illunivar. The Eldar of my crew will help you consult with Tanurom. Pay special attention to the data Trazyn gave us and anything it has interfaced with. Re: Wait! It's dangerous out there, take two!
[Can we just make a complete change in direction? If we try to get help from Eldar to overthrow Trazyn then Aten's loyalty processes will overcome him and we'll have to fight him. Oppositely, the avatar of khaine is deal breaking element to nearly any Eldar - unless it was used as a trap to over throw Trazyn, which returns to the original problem. Also, Necrons can't hack Eldar tech. They aren't psychic and they can't hack a ship that runs entirely on souls and wraithbone. Also the eldar will slaughter every non eldar on board if they learn the location of the craftworld]

Re: Wait! It's dangerous out there, take two!
[No its ok. Noble Necrons don't have loyalty processes the same way that generic warriors do. By making me an official Lord, Trazyn just spelled his downfall! Also, we can just not get the Avatar of Khaine, and get other things on the list. Finally, I think the issue is that Trazyn may have snuck on some robot spies or some sort of Trojan Horse thing inside me or one of my 500 men (now 490, pending repairs). We should still scan the ship for any hidden scarabs or wraiths.]

"'So then, here is the plan and what I need everyone to do. We are going to seek an audience with Athanwe Illunivar, Scourger of Serator Prime, Bane of Rogue Traders, and my grandfather. He may not be pleased to see one of his potential heirs before our 100 year competition has concluded, but I think he may make an exception in this case. With Athanwe's resources and connections, I think we will be able to come up with a solution that makes everyone happy.
'Seer Baravyn, you and I will get very cozy. We're going to do some heavy strategic planning during the voyage.
Dubshredda, unfortunately I don't think Fleet Illunivar will be very understanding about Tanurom carrying 5000 ork boyz. Your job will be to look at the map and see if you can find a nice planet or moon to vacation on while we take care of boring talky business. We'll pick you up when we're done. I guess the same goes for your soldiers too Aten.
Aten, in addition to searching for surveillance tech and helping Dubshredda find a vacation spot, I want you to lead a research effort into each of the items on this list. Find out everything we can: last seen locations, numeric success probabilities, the whole shebang.
Any questions?'"

"Firsa and Baravyn are going to look into the future as much as possible while still staying sane and safe. In general, they'll spend their time trying to see what will happen if they go for specific items, but they also ask a lot about which allies they should seek out. For example 'Is making a deal with X faction of the Imperium a good idea?' Another subject is if/how they might win back the craftworld without doing what Tranzyn wants. This is all while Tanurom is going to fleet Illunivar, but if it becomes clear from the planning that this isn't the best idea, Firsa is perfectly willing to take another path."

[The fleet is in the Koronus Expanse which is two segmentum away in Segmentun Obscura. The Seer Baravyn will need to roll tests to successfully traverse the warp/webway which will determine how calm the trip is and the length of the journey. It should be noted that the trip will likely take upwards of 200 days give or take in travel. Proper estimates will have to be made by the seer]

"Captain Firsa, I would not want you to forfeit your position in the competition unnecessarily. Instead of taking a long and dangerous trip to visit your father, why not visit one of the many ports in the Halo Stars. They are controlled primarily by pirates, or rogue traders, which are a sort of human pirate. There we can gain information about our objectives, and plot our next move. "'It's possible that Necron's have the technology to easily send messages over such vast distances, but unfortunately, as far as I'm aware, nothing on our ship has that power.' Just then, Firsa eyes light up. 'Actually, I have an idea. It might even be a safer way to make sure the information doesn't die with us, considering the many perils we'll likely face on the way to Fleet Illunivar."
Tristan explains that Firsa will set up Tanurom with an emergency protocol that will only execute if and only if the ship and Firsa herself are both destroyed. Tanurom will then use all remaining power to broadcast a message as far and as wide as possible. The message, written in Eldar, will encode in the coordinates of craftworld locations the fact that a craftworld is trapped on Solemnance. Firsa may know a better encryption scheme, but the idea is that only Eldar of certain stature will be able to understand the message.

The seer goes off to ensure that safe travel to the pirate station goes off. Baravyn meditates and uses his powers of foresight to plot the best way through the Webway using his charts and knowledge and estimates an arrival of twenty days. He guides the Tanorum safely into the Webway and the ship begins traversing the relatively safe part of the Warp. At first all is calm and there is nothing to worry the crew (aside from the orks and other such problems).
If there is anything people would like to do while in transit say so. Firsa and Dubshredda still need to recover their wounds. Also, all fate points have refreshed now. Fate points that had not been used yet may not be used to heal.

Baravyn finds a nice, quiet space in the vessel (which was much harder with all the orks around) and relaxes. He does decide to keep his vox on this time so he can respond to messages, considering the current situation it would be dangerous if something happened and he couldn't be reached. Still depending on the message he might elect to ignore it, but Baravyn is reachable
