Join le capitalist revolution! Also they did not hesitate to advertise a lot of lame DLC, but expansion pack looks great.
I watched the E3 multiplayer demo, but you'll have to go find that yourself because I chose this lame french video instead for this post. I hope you're disappointed.

Re: Assassin's Creed III
Assassins creed is the american version of kingdom hearts, tons of side games and you have to play them all to get the whole picture.

Re: Assassin's Creed III
That's not true at all, have you played the original? It had no side games at all, it's only when they started expanding it into a full sandbox RPG that there were minigames.
Also, Kingdom Hearts doesn't have PvP multiplayer modes or a well developed historical fiction setting.
The only problem I have with the series is their pandering to console gaming services and such.

Re: Assassin's Creed III
Original has two side stories for the ds and psp taking place before and after the first game.
Multiplayer in the AC series up till this latest game feels tacked on as a gimmick and repetitive.
Also the story in three is good so far but the alt history dlc with king washington seems really interesting and could be very good provided they dont rush it.

It's still pretty good for a game where the focus is on single player.kaede wrote:Multiplayer in the AC series up till this latest game feels tacked on as a gimmick and repetitive.

So this game is free as part of the Ubi 30 promotion, if you can bear to deal with Ubishit's arcane DRM client Uplay.
After having to manually install their obsolete third party anti-cheat software I was able to hop into the multiplayer scene, which for some reason is a separate executable that you have to switch to from single player. You get to choose one of the 14 avatars(the last 2 are in DLC) rendered in a rather bright and colorful style.
I elected to bePocahontas- I mean Alsoome, "The Independent" for my first match. Seeing no target offered, I locked onto and killed 3 civilians in a row and was promptly put down by a pistol shot from across the street.
In other words, it's everything I've dreamed of.
