A dragon, which has bonded with Eragon and only he is capable of riding. She allows for speeds in excess of Mach 5, as well as possessing fierce attacking power. Because dragons generate prana merely by breathing, her bond increases Eragon's mana to A. The power of her breath is equivalent to that of Excalibur.
Brisingr--Sword of fire, Anti-unit D+ (5)
A magical sword, made of Brightsteel, with the ability to burst into flames when activated. Because of Eragon's high magical energy and bond with Saphira, its effective power increases to B+, but decreases to E+ when he is not mounted on Saphira. Unlike many other sword noble phantasm's it does not have a giant LAZOR BEEM.
Eragon is the main protagonist of the Inheritance Cycle, written by Christopher Paolini. Eragon is a male, the first in a new generation of Dragon Riders. He was trained by Brom an old story teller from his village and Oromis, and was chosen by Saphira, a blue dragon, to be her Rider.
Eragon grew up as an orphan without any real knowledge of his parentage except his mother's name, Selena, but later discovered, while on a hunting trip into the Spine mountains, a large blue stone. The stone later hatches back at his farm into a small Blue Dragon. He later names the Dragon Saphira. The dreaded Ra'zac who have been tracking the dragon egg, turn up at Eragon's farm, kill his uncle and force Eragon on a journey of adventure, friendship, betrayal and death.

Edward Newgate, better known as Whitebeard, the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates, was known as the "Man closest to One Piece" or "The Strongest Man in the World" and was one of the Yonkou that ruled over the New World. He is considered the biggest pirate threat to the World Government. Newgate's reputation was so great, his simple declaration of Fishman Island being his territory was enough to keep slave traders and pirates from attacking the place further, making him far more effective than the treaty signed with the World Government 200 years ago.

Description: Haki is separated into three categories: Kenbunshoku Haki, Busōshoku Haki, and Haōshoku Haki. Kenbunshoku Haki is a form of Haki that allows the user to sense the presence of others, even if they are concealed from view or too far to see naturally. When using this type of Haki, one can predict an opponent's moves shortly before they make them, thereby making the attack that much easier to evade. This prediction appears to the user as an image or brief "premonition" of what the opponent will do in the user's mind's eye, and the damage the user will take if the attack "hits" for real. Busōshoku Haki is another form of Haki that allows the user to create a force similar to an invisible armor around themselves. This armor can protect the user from attacks and push aggressors away. This type of Haki enhances the power of any attack, and also allows the user to bypass magical defenses, directly striking at the soul of the enemy. Haōshoku Haki grants the user the ability to overpower the wills of others. Those with weak wills are knocked unconscious (less than B rank Endurance).

A Paramecia type Devil Fruit that turns the user into a "Quake Man," allowing the user to create shock waves (or "quakes"). The force of the shock waves depends on how powerful Whitebeard swings. At maximum, a shockwave can be generated that is strong enough to cause tsunamis and earthquakes across the entire world. This fruit is fearsomely reputed to be able to destroy the world, and is considered to be the strongest Devil Fruit within the Paramecia-class, having powers no weaker than that of a Logia. Whitebeard can use the fruit for 3 times every time he activates his abilities.

Whitebeard fought with a heavy halberd called a bisento, and was immensely skilled with it. The bisento amplifies the power of his Devil Fruit and Busōshoku Haki. With the bisento, Whitebeard can generate a shockwave in less than a millisecond. He usually employed the bisento using both hands, but was also seen capable of using it proficiently with just one hand. When it clashed with Shanks' saber, the added power of Busōshoku Haki cause the "heavens" to literally split.

ok I don't understand what Saphiras breath being as strong as excalibur means. Fire breath is a spread weapon, and it doesn't shoot like a beam. . . . . .
Anyways Whitebeard on this one, I've seen him in one piece, he took out the main marine fortress castle base (which was huge mind you) by using his quake power, swinging some evil guy through the hole base of the building. Then to top it off, this was AFTER he took a cannonball through the chest. (like he was bleeding out of his chest profusely).

i swing shockwave at him and explode him while putting pressure on him with Haōshoku Haki. Nvm, i can just knock him out with Haōshoku Haki. He has less than B endurance... So, im not using shockwave. just knocking him out and then stabbing him to death.

By as strong as excalibur, just assume it does damage equivalent to an anti-fortress noble phantasm.

again, fire breath, is FIRE, and this isn't a fireball, this is just a spray of fire, there is a limit to how much you can tweak a character to the point that you tweak the mechanics of their attack. I have to ignore that thing because I can't understand the application. To me this is like saying its a cotton ball that has the same amount of power as excalibur.

Its like earthquake vs Pidgeotto.

Of course I think that Whitebeard would win because haki would overpower Aragon in physical combat.
Mounted combat is not feasible in an enclosed place, though potentially Saphira could purposefully destroy the building to move the fight to an open place.
Overall though, Whitebeard has terrain advantage, even though it does not allow for the full extent of his power to be used.
And yes, its like a cotton ball being fired at such speed such that its kinetic energy is equal to a bullet, the heat of the breath can compensate for kinetic force...

white beard could send something flying into Saphira. If he can fling a guy through a whole building and cause the building to collapse, then he should be able to fling a solid object at Saphira.

he doesnt need to physically attack him at all... he just sends a wave of haki and eragon falls on the ground unconscious... He only has D rank endurance. U need B rank or above to resist Haōshoku Haki

putting the energy of a worldwide earthquake, into propelling a single object. That is a lot of energy, that will make that object go at a viscous speed.

Amos, the object would get crushed because of the kinetic force before it hits anything. Its a shockwave, he can't directly control how it is applied, only an estimate of the strength.

eragon has no defence against Haōshoku Haki. The shockwave is unnecessary if the enemy is already unconscious.

Half his head was like shot off, and he was still standing, then because he was stationary he got mobbed by blackbeards crew. And the dude still died standing , and then they had that awesome thing where they say he had scars all over, but none on his back.
