To get the dice rolling, I decided to take the initiative to make this post and create the internet.

Larry and Stephen aren't indoctrinated into this forum yet, and Amos is trying to steal the spotlight by making his own forum, so when the game will be upline isn't written in stone yet. Personally I would like to see it running as soon as possible, so lets get it started.

Not trying to steal the spotlight, i made that forum not knowing that waynes existed, also about the campaign,

I am liking the idea of a sandbox type campaign instead of a linear one

Stephen would definitely be for it, also it allows for much more unique things, say by chance I feel like my goal in life is to raise a dragon army and take over a nation, or to find the secrets to godhood. Maybe I want to be like a robin hood type character or a wicked gladiator, maybe an theorist of the laws of arcane, point is, this lets the group be evil or do whatever they want.

It may seem very complicated to run, but if the gm can improvise well enough and has the data on possible creatures the group could meet it can easily be done.

A chart of random encounters for overworld travel is also good, make a list of possible encounters then label them for a range of numbers between 1-100. That way it isn't just, "You travel for 4 rainy days". Maybe it could be like, "During your travels on the third day since you set off as you travel through the plains you see a group of thugs coming to attack you."

yeah kelvin, if you aren't playing then I'm afraid you're stuck with the character you got, because I'm adding this stuff in for the character sheet. pretty soon I'm going to make the fields editable so you guys can put in your character info.

1. What's a web structure campaign? I'm probably going to make an 'emergent'(as far as my opinion of it is)campaign.

Umm those next two are a bit of a personal opinion. You can be any of those classes I guess. If you REALLY want me to make your decisions for you, then be an Alchemist Wizard or one of the two.

1. Web Structure is where the gm fleshes out events and then decides what can happen based on the actions of the pcs, say there is an event where the pcs might join an order of holy knights, if they say yes then they would go to an event that would from there have its own possible out comes, if they say no then they would go to a different event with its own possible outcomes, each event could have as many outcomes as the gm makes. I still like emergent.

Why, it's over the limit for not having to re-roll and I don't see any obvious cheating... unlike my rick rolld...lol

cuz the stats are too weak for a caster, in order tocast 9th level spells you must have at least 19 charisma or intelligence or whatever, aka you need at least a 16 to be able to cast 9th level spells when you get to the according level, this is counting the stat bonuses you get occasionally.

OK, so you don't get 9th level spells until 18th level anyway, which gives him 4 ability increases, if he puts the 15 into Charisma, he should be fine if he power- levels Charisma

no point in playing an underpowered character its no fun, op characters are stupid, thats why we downgraded the oracle, but still let sandow roll up some nicer stats.

to have 19 cha id need to get a 17 or 18 and put my half-elf +2 into that stat

you dont need the 19 off the bat and for christ sake do you all need to be part elf? human has the same +2 bonus, so does orc, and there are actual races with the bonuses for that stuff. penalties arent great but they arent that bad.

and sandow you will want to roll so that you have a 16 or 17 and then a pair or 14/15 and then the rest shouldnt matter.

Appearance:

Backstory:
Marthonian grew up in a elvish stronghold, where the last royal families of pure elves finds refuge (Satisfied? =.=). Marthonian is a son of House Vashrilmeir, the House of Hunters. Marthonian is on a personal quest to find the Tomb of Riak the Plaque Bearer, but he does not disclose why his is not living with the other Elves or why he seeks the Tomb to anyone. Knowing he can't possibly hope to succeed on his own, he is currently looking for fellow travelers that might provide company and mutual support.
