It has really been a while since I updated the announcements...better start timestamping stuff! -- May 19th, 2011
But actually I stopped because my announcements are too trivial and nonsensical to be worth remembering.
I leave the following line up for nostalgia purposes as well:

there are myriad ways in which we can improve our everyday lives in small aspects that can cumulatively make a huge difference, termed 'life hacks' by some. Post info graphics that you find ITT(in this thread) so we can all benefit from it. A good place to start is http://infothread.org/

It's not cool to use SOS (least if i remember correctly it is) for trolling.

You can get heavily fined if your caught using that for no particular reason.

Edit: God damn auto correct can't spell for powerofpoo.

What do you mean no 'paticular' reason? My 4 elderly grandparents happened to be crossing all 4 crosswalks at the same time, I just wanted to give them time to get all the way across, that's all.
COOL FACE But seriously though some of these guides are awesome, there's one that teaches you how to make a lockpick from scratch without expensive tools.
