I have been permitted by The Great Proxy King to post and respond to THIS TOPIC EXCLUSIVELY, after much b1tching and begging.
So, I was contemplating on what Nina said, get a part time job to pay for stuff, when I remembered that there are lazier ways to make money that don't involve clickspamming google.

Say hello to our Official Cafe-press store. The account has been set up so that when someone purchases something off this store, a certain amount of money goes into a PayPal account owned by my mother. That money will then be handed over to me in raw dollar bills, and then I will put it in a box.

Take a look around, I completely finished two designs and made them work with every useless product they have to offer (f**king modern clocks, how do they work?). I would love it if you guys came up with pics or logos for me to put on there.

If you want a design on the site, it must...
1) Have no text as part of the picture, but you can tell me where to put text, what font, etc.
2) Be a 2000 by 2000 res PNG file
3) Not infringe any copyrighted stuff (so that lawfags don't shut us down again)
4) Not be vulgar or pornographic

Oh and btw, don't worry if you idea doesn't fit with the theme of everything else, one Cafe-press account can hold multiple shops. Just keep pumping out ideas and pictures so we can put more and more on our shops.

In all odds this is an idea par excellence. I like how the first thing I see is the women's t-shirt, Cool Story Bro because we are expanding our target audience. However, the logo was meant to go on a black background, and I don't see any black shirts(You know I hate black! JK) in the men's section. Also, USE THE INFECTED FONT BECAUSE ITS COOLZOR.
Also, check my steam wishlist if you wanna know what we're getting next, I oughta have a business voice as I founded the community and designed that logo you're toting on yo' shirts.

EDIt: oh wait yeah the color changer silly me, but you still need to change the font to infected, I can email you the ttf file just paste it in your fonts folder

Lol the womens shirt is the first thing you see because Cafe-press just set up the site that way. I'm looking more into customizing the site and getting cooler products on it like the iPhone cases, but don't expect results overnight lol.
And don't send me the font, send me four images, "Church of ProZ" in red, "Church of ProZ" in black, and then the same with otaku fortress.

UPDATE: Well crap, good news and bad news. Good news is I figured out how to un-faggotize the look of the shop and expand our selection of products. The Bad news is that it requires upgrading our account to premium. The best deal for a premium account is the 60 bucks for 1 year plan, 5 dollars a month. However, that means we will need a income much greater than 5 dollars a month, otherwise we're just not making as much monies as we could. Sorry, no iPod cases until we get sales a-going.

=/ dude just a little business calc at the rather high prices the merch is set at, we'd only need to sell 5-6 products a year to turn a profit and still get the premium. but let's not consider upgrading until we've made some sales unless it gives substantial benefit.

Well...powerofpoo I apologize, I thought I made a Basic Shop, but turns out I made something WORSE than a basic shop. I made...a Shop, it doesn't even have the word basic attached to it, it is the basic of basic, it is the MACKINTOSH of shops. So I'm moving the store to a Basic Shop, should be a lot better. Basic shops are still free, and they let me choose what products we are offering. I'll get back to you with the new URL and store.

well depends, there's different kinds of T-shirts. I'll be able to set price on the updated site (SO DONT BUY ANYTHING YET). For a plain white T-shirt the base price is like 16 dollars, for a dark one its about 19, and I set how much more people pay and that much more is how much we make. However, theres also bulk buying, and that drastically reduces the base-price per unit.

Anyway whats something that you can make alot of cash from?

Answer: patriotism & video games.

Games like the fallout series have many patriotic quotes in them if we take an image of a flag and have that quote on the back we can make money.

An example from New Vegas:

There's only one thing, because making stuff for Basic shops are more difficult and require more effort. But its also very cheap. Its 14 dollars and we make a profit of 5 dollars every time one is bought.

Well to sell it on a CD would require a bit more effort. Getting some people to translate the two episodes we played into a script would be easy enough, and then we would need some people to spice it up and plan out every transition, expression, etc. The hard part would be making original BGM and art (or rather, getting people to stay commited to such tasks). And also, who would buy such a thing? If they know it exists, will they just pirate it? How can we defeat the pirates? These are all things we should consider.
Making a book would be easier. In fact, why not a collection of short stories?

Not everyone's like us michael, you're kinda asking us to defeat ourselves by implementing anti-piracy measures, probably the most regular folks pirate are shoddy mp3s by current artists. So we either embrace pirating it, or stick a little scene in or whatever that goes like "AMOS you if you didn't buy this"

"Name brand" tees, good idea. but the idea is simple enough that competitors might spring up, which is where we fall back on other products. Yes, my troll clocks suck, but so does "you're" spelling. I proofread your descriptions for some stuff. The clocks need specially designed pictures, circular with numbers on the border obviously, but as per chuchu/my idea we have 'troll' or 'h4l0' instead of or alongside numbers.
@blizzle: Not sure how to make the proz emblem shirt brighter, I think it looks bright enough but the bad lighting makes the shirt cancel it out, but that'd be up to you I guess, I saw you were trying to make the logo brighter for the banner, just see what you can do and send the results to me.
