Pixel-fu

I'm not sure how many people have tried making pixel art... or who cares that much about it. I think pixel art is cool; you get to make whatever you imagine using hundreds (or even thousands) of selectively placed and colored pixels. It's like Minecraft... only with 2 dimensions, no pigs, and not quite as exciting gameplay. Still, if you want to share whatever you make or tell someone their art is crap, this is the place to do it.

For starters, this is a 60x35 ship I made for my game. It looks a little boring if you ask me, but there's only so much you can do with 60x35. It's missing guns because guns are separate images. The class is intended to be Fighter (second lightest after Scout).



It looks better with more saturation:

very elegant alien design type - like on the protossish side. Although not something they themselves would design.

Reminds me of the Klingon Bird of Prey.
