Edward Newgate, better known as Whitebeard, the captain of the Whitebeard Pirates, was known as the "Man closest to One Piece" or "The Strongest Man in the World" and was one of the Yonkou that ruled over the New World. He is considered the biggest pirate threat to the World Government. Newgate's reputation was so great, his simple declaration of Fishman Island being his territory was enough to keep slave traders and pirates from attacking the place further, making him far more effective than the treaty signed with the World Government 200 years ago.

Name: Haki

Description: Haki is separated into three categories: Kenbunshoku Haki, Busōshoku Haki, and Haōshoku Haki. Kenbunshoku Haki is a form of Haki that allows the user to sense the presence of others, even if they are concealed from view or too far to see naturally. When using this type of Haki, one can predict an opponent's moves shortly before they make them, thereby making the attack that much easier to evade. This prediction appears to the user as an image or brief "premonition" of what the opponent will do in the user's mind's eye, and the damage the user will take if the attack "hits" for real. Busōshoku Haki is another form of Haki that allows the user to create a force similar to an invisible armor around themselves. This armor can protect the user from attacks and push aggressors away. This type of Haki enhances the power of any attack, and also allows the user to bypass magical defenses, directly striking at the soul of the enemy. Haōshoku Haki grants the user the ability to overpower the wills of others. Those with weak wills are knocked unconscious (less than B rank Endurance).

A Paramecia type Devil Fruit that turns the user into a "Quake Man," allowing the user to create shock waves (or "quakes"). The force of the shock waves depends on how powerful Whitebeard swings. At maximum, a shockwave can be generated that is strong enough to cause tsunamis and earthquakes across the entire world. This fruit is fearsomely reputed to be able to destroy the world, and is considered to be the strongest Devil Fruit within the Paramecia-class, having powers no weaker than that of a Logia. Whitebeard can use the fruit for 3 times every time he activates his abilities.

Whitebeard fought with a heavy halberd called a bisento, and was immensely skilled with it. The bisento amplifies the power of his Devil Fruit and Busōshoku Haki. With the bisento, Whitebeard can generate a shockwave in less than a millisecond. He usually employed the bisento using both hands, but was also seen capable of using it proficiently with just one hand. When it clashed with Shanks' saber, the added power of Busōshoku Haki cause the "heavens" to literally split.

Ramiel is an Angel, a category of giant 'monsters' that continually assault Tokyo-3's GeoFront in Evangelion, attempting to fuse with the First Angel Adam and cause the Third Impact, a cataclysmic explosion that would at the least wipe out all life on earth for 500 years, at most destroy it. Each Angel has a distinctly different and bizarre appearance and structure, as well as attack methods, but all possess an AT field and a core that functions somewhat like a heart. Ramiel specifically takes the shape of a large octahedron with a reflective texture all over by default, but if engaged with others will spontaneously warp into any number of different geometric or curved 3D structures.

Description: Raises all stats by 0.5. Angels have a completely alien structure and 'thought process' if it has one, such a being cannot be considered 'sane' by any human standards in the first place. The S² core is a pseudo-biological organ, use of it is retained along with energy projection.

Description: All Angels have shown the ability to rapidly recover from massive damage. While extensive testing has not been conducted, lesser Angels have been shown to recover from being cleaved almost completely in half in less than a week.

Description: Use of the S² engine to manipulate raw energy, it is the most devastating attack ever demonstrated by an Angel since the Second Impact. By generating massive particle energy from it's core and accelerating it, Ramiel can form a wide beam that will literally incinerate anything in seconds and automatically targets any hostile object within a certain radius. The maximum range is 10 km, and can also be applied as a scatter shot or sweeping laser.

The S², or "Super Solenoid Engine", is a seemingly limitless source of power originally found in the bodies of the Angels, which contains their 'soul'. In practice, this raises Ramiel's Mana to A++ and is in conjunction with Energy Projection. Similar to Prelati's Spellbook in that Ramiel can operate regardless of outside mana conditions. Destruction of the core will result in the Angel's death, however Ramiel's core is embedded in the middle of its armored form, whose constant transformations make it difficult to pin down the location.

AT Field is short for "Absolute Terror Field." The AT Field is an anomalous energy barrier that the Angels are surrounded with at all times, which is impervious to almost all conventional weapons. The N² bomb can penetrate the AT Fields of some Angels, causing moderate damage that can be regenerated in a matter of hours or days. Ramiel is known for having an exceptionally powerful AT field, though there are known instances of it being penetrated. The AT field also blocks out any mental/psychic or status affecting interference by nature.
