It has really been a while since I updated the announcements...better start timestamping stuff! -- May 19th, 2011
But actually I stopped because my announcements are too trivial and nonsensical to be worth remembering.
I leave the following line up for nostalgia purposes as well:

ZOMG I just remembered Star Wars: Droidworks. Its a 90's game where you build your very own star wars robot in the Gold-src engine (I'm pretty sure, it looks a LOT life half life 1). I loved it, you could make all sorts of crazy robots. Plus its also educational, it teaches you about entry-level physics like simple machines, forces, conservation of momentum, light, and magnetism (and how to apply it to robotics sorta), so we can use that as an excuse to install it on the school computers! (Muhahaha).

There are some available downloads on the internet, just google it there are tons of available download sites.

Yeah, but the teachers don't know that. Plus its a game we can spread to the freshman, because they are just learning about it.

no offense this does sound limited in a sense that it is a building game with no playing component.
