Lancer Problems

I'm having some trouble using Lancer's specials and Last Resorts, specifically those which involve "holding" or the "touch" kanji (i think that's what it means). How does this work?

you hold 4 press and then press six. release 4 and then press B

Amos told me he thought it was a quick tap. Raise your hand if you can do a full Mad Enhancement combo with berserker *raises hand* anyone else?

alot of games have a quick tap vs medium/long press, though those controls are a pain to use (like flicking an analog / dpad to do a side step)

You have to hold the [4] longer, in [4] 6a.
Just lean on it like your blocking and then hit 6a or whatever when you're in range.
Same thing for Gaebolg:
-Lean on [4] like blocking
-646a really quick
For other combos that utilize things like [2]8a, you have to hold on the [2] while you're executing the previous move in the combo, or you won't have enough time.
