I have none my comp don't have the specs to play it so i uninstalled it. Newest game I can play is dragon age.

well unlike its predecessor starcraft 2 makes it a whole lot easier to get used to the game, plus worst that can happen is you get stuck in a low level league and work your way up, like most of the other people. With tutorials and alot of campaign levels that help you understand unit advantage and general skills it should be easily done.

uhhh dude the com in sc1 is actually very difficult to beat, I wasn't able to beat computer opponents until very recently, so don't sweat it just finish the campaign. and you should at least know the names of the units you are mainly fielding, tell us your tactics so I can give proper advice.
2 easy ways to beat the com:
1. reinforced zerg/zealot rush in early game. have at least two production buildings and pump until they run out of troops so you can rape their workers. I have not tested this with marines.
2. take all the expansions and turtle until the com runs out of resources. you are free to produce any unit mass and crush their inactive base. this is how I used to win.

oh and amos is horribly right about sc2 being easier to learn and stuff, there's like 15 tutorial missions that teach you how to do such easy things as clicking on buildings, ITS LIKE A VIDEO ON HOW TO PLAY A MARIO GAME. when you try to do campaign it'll just plop all the tuts on you via tips saying "OH NOES you should watch these things first or you won't know how to MOVE"

and they marine spam me despite my bunkers. And they make 10 marines to my 3 -.-

don't waste time and money building bunkers if you know they are gonna have more troops than you, build a factory+machine shop instead and pump out some siege tanks with siege mode researched. Then it doesn't matter how many marines they have. Or you could switch to zerg and do a zerg rush, as long as you constantly crank out zerglings and send them off to harass them they will break in less than 5 minutes. i once took down two com opponents terran and protoss with hydralisk spam.

dude the sc1 com is a biatch, you gotta turtle them out with shiz, until you get a foothold. Honestly I havent tried against very easy in sc2, but i bet he doesnt even attack, or maybe he makes like 2 units

well yeah thats cuz they get 1000 apm and resource hax. but a rush works fine if you can reinforce it.

oh yeah that ridiculousness that they have perfect macro micro power, so all you can rely on is to beat the com in the areas it was meant to be beaten. even a good player will lose alot of time to the computer in clicking. Stupid computer multiple areas of fighting, which is total cheap ass ness.

oh also I saw this in the blizzard documentary, the com always knows exactly where you are in sc1, it does not need to scout or find you and sends the troops right to your base when its ready.

well for that day and age, the computer managed everyones units, and then it is managing its own, i mean its not like the computer didn't defaultively know where your units were.

This is even more shocking than learning that the brawl cpu adapts to your playing style.

really? I'm surprised, it is like how in mechwarrior the computer has perfect aim, or in UT2K4 the com never misses, rather you have to dodge (thats why in instagib where the gun hits in a millesecond the com pwns).

They can't aim if you fly

well yeah that is true, but that aside, on the ground (or be it jumping in ut2k4) you are like a sitting duck when it comes to instant shot weapons.
