"This song always brings me to the verge of tears for some reason. And they're not tears of sorrow, but of longing. Especially when paired with the visuals of the ending sequence, it elicits an almost nostalgic feeling, oddly enough, of a place I've never been to. While I think it does convey that rustic tone/theme very well, said theme isn't very appealing to me. The whole small village countryside ideal just fills me with despair because it feels like you're going nowhere and nothing big is going to happen. And indeed, they're still in the "starting town" by the end of season 2.

Now, time to find an ED I do like...

The lyrics actually describe a kid's desire to escape that starting town and go on an adventure.

I think the contrast makes the song even better; she's in that safe starting zone anticipating a whole world to explore ahead of her. And despite all her big aspirations, she's perfectly content getting her feelings out in that cozy, small town style.

I'd like to settle down in a nice country town as opposed to the suburbs or the city.

Would a starting point such as a starting town be an appropriate location for an endgame?
