Google is becoming more of a totalitarian overlord every day. You can't send files that have certain extensions anymore, and any files you have sent with those extensions are no longer accessible. The latter has caused me significant grief on more than one occasion, so this python script should allow you to bypass the protection and download old email attachments which have offensive extensions:

Also, If you didn't already know you can just rename the file and change its extension to something innocuous before sending it. Just let your recipient know what the original extension was.
