Kings of Chaos - Browser Based "TBS"

Kings of Chaos is a massive multiplayer text based strategy game; the player controls an army of their race. In the game, players can purchase different items, train troops, form alliances and recruit new players.
Each new game round in Kings of Chaos is called an Age. At the end of each Age, a new one starts: all player information is refreshed and the game starts again from the beginning. Ages usually last for approximately 6 months. Kings of Chaos is in the 15th Age as of July 9, 2011.

Alternatively you could become Michael or felix's officer, but um...thats not optimal because they are my officers. Add our command chain as friends so we get recruit priority. Except for Char_the_great because he's a douche. Becoming an officer under someone gives them 50 extra soldiers, and since we're all ostensibly on the same side this is a good thing.

Now for the stuff they don't tell you on the site and wikipedia. Well, they do tell you this on the site, but their help page is powerofpoo.

3 resources: Soldiers, gold(money), and turns(time). You receive 1 turn per minute, and each soldier in your army generates 1 gold per turn. Turns are used to perform actions. There is also experience, but it is really retarded and not used very much.

Action Types:

• Attack(150 turns) - Full scale attack on another player. If it succeeds you steal from 60%-100% of their current gold.
  Only if large amounts of troops(like in the thousands so don't worry if you're a noob) are fielded will soldiers die in the army.
  
• Raid(25 turns) - A small scale attack on another player. The same damage amounts are dealt as in a normal attack, but it uses less turns and you get a smaller percentage of the enemy's gold if you win. You typically use this if you don't have enough turns for a full attack or want to test an enemy's defense.
  
• Recon(0 turns) - We call this a 'scan', basically just retrieves information about an enemy's stats. This is very important. The higher level players of our alliance(read: felix and I) have high spy ratings, so you can call on one of us to scan someone.
  
• Sab(1-5 turns) - Attempting to sabotage weapons/tools in an opponent's armory. this is a very high level action so you don't need to know about it or use it when you start out.
  
  There are 4 primary stats:
  
• Strike Action - your total combined attack power. if your SA is higher than your enemy's defense action your attacks and raids will succeed.
  
• Defense Action - total combined defense power.
  
• Spy Rating - your offensive covert power. if your spy rating is higher than the target's sentry rating, you can automatically see how much gold they have and your recon scans will automatically succeed(although you can't get all of their info in one scan, but scans are free). If your spy rating is at least 1/3(or 1/4, I don't know but felix says its something like that) of their sentry rating, your recon scans have a good chance of succeeding. this also determines how successful sab attempts are.
  
• Sentry Rating - your defensive covert power, how well you can resist scans and sabs.

Well I guess I should apologize to Xenoe for attacking him those two times I wanted to test my army's strength on my first day.

Also sorry to Michael, Xenoe and CR(forget Kooay he sabotaged stuff of mine) for testing recon on them.

Only recon that worked was Xenoe and even then it didn't reveal much.

Also I'm going to kill my youngest brother (Char_the_great who I have raided into the ground and has quit like a little nina) for attacking any of you guys while I was at work.

not so bad, on my second account i spent through a couple mill with the starting turns, now just to get all those men and some money with which to train them.

Raid noobs with high money and low attack and defense power.

Also the fake char has quit after raiding him till he had no money to train troops. Matt says he shall sign up but as my officer not Kooay to give me the bonus troops.

felix is no longer using xenoe, it doesn't matter. And I'm sorry, that sab attempt was encouraged by one of my friends, and I lost almost all of my spy tools from it so you don't need to worry about retaliation.

Which race do you recommend playing?

Undead they lose less troops if your attacked, dwarf because they get more money per turn and get a boost in defense, or orks because they get a boost in attack and defense.

Your able to change your race a certain amount of times per age so it's up to you what you chose.

Also might wanna think about having one of us be your commander because having a commander who has friends can deter people from attacking you.

So does anyone still play this (besides Kooay) I kinda lost intrest (new games like skyward sword do that) but im holding off on deleting my account.

I am just posting here saying that if anyone here needs quick gold i make roughly 1 mil every 4-5 hours and can attack.

Note that everyone starts out with 25 Shields, this may be an impediment to the Barbarian Opener.
