ok so you want someone more like sloth the indolent. Well if you want serious armor you will have to spend points on power armor. High intensity power armor gives 60 armor (the highest) super speed, super strength and some other nifty tools.

Unknown power is a valid power look inside the core rulebook page 59 (60 in the pdf) its where the user can put aside character points the GM adds 50% (rounding up) and you asign them to attributes that shall mafest themselves later in the game when the GM deams it alright.

Also I'll get on the background I have a rough idea on it so ill type up that idea and send it to you via PM.

Yeah.

In case everyone forgot, there are also Fantasy Elements that work into this. We voted on Cyberpunk + Fantasy. So, you don't have to make a cyborg to give your guy super powers. Just saying.

Response to edit: no no no, your character is good, I'm already working out an elaborate plot around your character! You and Amos came out with pretty good backstories.

a ) I was the first person to post their character - and had a neural implant, which adds to him but it not a life sustaining part of him. And yeah after seeing 2 people do builds that have the same theme I have the urge to switch to something else. Also there is like no close range here, and larry gets like no computer access.

Ok I had no trouble changing but sence you had done work on backstory quests (which is more than any gm ive seen done my gm friends are all lazy and make a generic plot only way it was fun was because I screwed things up in game) than I wont change.

Fine, I didn't make that, or the collector crap, but I did make something, I'm a famous inventor. Since you aren't exactly saying what level of tech we have I really can't make something up on that part. Also, I had 42 points of defects, if I had 49 I'd grab some more 1337 stuff, and guys you'd better be prepared for the paparazzi apocalypse. Also michael you should get on gchat.

Wayne, here's the thing. Either I let you get a bunch of defects that don't do squat and you become overpowered, which isn't fair, or I have to follow through with all of them and your party members end up getting the penalties too, which isn't fair either! As a GM it is my job to make the game enjoyable and challenging, so if I let you have your current build either I have to take away the the fun or the challenge. That should never have to be a choice. When you present me with such a predicament, i'm not the problem, you are. A player should not try to take away from another players enjoyment, so you better fix up that character or else.

btw just thought it would be important to note, but all the weapons in the cyberpunk book are super cheap compared to the normal ones. I can get anti tank rockets for 3 points out of my lovely 12.

how am I overpowered, i have like 3 level 1 skills that I can actually use to fight, lower than average hp, and how do my party members get the penalties too? if I took away whatever you think makes me 'overpowered' I'm basically a glass cannon with no ammo.

Lets see, you've got all of Rio's utility skills plus more, Universal mind control, a whole bunch of combat attributes that turn you into a Bazooka with legs (not the bomb with legs from Bobobo), and $300,000. I call that more than a bit overpowered.

The penalties I'm talking about is a complete hounding from the media. That would be very, very bad for your party members, trust me.

Alright Wayne, I am demanding a complete character redo. Find a niche in the party that isn't filled. Amos is dual gunner with a side of fries and tracing, Nina is a hacker with a combat transformation. Be creative, find something that isn't taken yet.

Captain Charisma
Unarmed master

Detective

Wayne your seriously acting selfish here, b1tching and whining that you can't have every character trait you want, and not caring if your defects are going to get everyone in your party killed.

I can't have you eating up a party space if your going to act like this, especially when the game start is coming up soon, so either make a totally new character with a similar but reasonable back-story if you want, or get banned from this game.
