Mech warriors super team tourney!!!

Yo, I tested out the multiplayer with sean dao and it worked out awesome, now I figure with more people it will get laggier but maybe some with good internet can host it.

We should have a giant team battle (each match can have max 16 players, and considering the firepower on just one mech, that is a lot of stuff flying around).

The teams could be setup all kinds of ways:
-It could be team hamachi vs moon records IRC
-It could team captains pick
-It could be people just kinda pick a generic team

Anyways I want to do an interest check to see who would and can participate (sorry michael, you would but you can't cuz you don't have a useable windows computer).

So just post if you play in a mechwarrior4 team battle, and yeah we work out rules for what parts are restricted, what the max cost of mechs are and etc.

you can edit controls, also, the controls are VERY confusing to begin with.

also mechwarrior 4 is pretty different from mechassault from what I have heard, while there are a lot of common mechs, in mechwarrior you can customize weapons, armor ratings, top speed, utilities (like anti missle, radar cloaking, radar jamming, better lock on, jump jets, etc), heat sink rating, lots of stuff.

OMG Mechassault was my fav game of all time and after playing this i am slightly disappointed

1. Turning gives me a headache =.=
2. Mad Cat, my favorite mech sucks now =.=
3. Atlas is good .... WTF?

Yo for the record, all mechs can be categorized in these 3 terms:
brawler: takes hits, dishes outs lots of damage at close range.

Sniper: this is what it is, there are a lot of variants, like the pop-tart sniper who jump jets up and shoots someone and then falls back behind a hill.

guerilla: runs around real fast and does hit and run tactics, typically uses laser weapons because it can cool down while running away.

To bad no ppcs but overheating in this game kills that

not unless you go with lots of heatsinks (for dual ppcs you nee about 11 heat sinks, this is my first post from my awesome sauce laptop (this is the first and last time I will brag about it totally out of the blue))

This was so much easier in mechassult

Ok so I swear I made a post about this somewhere but I can't find it:

So lets start making teams for the battle, its fine if people switch part way through but at least it won't be all "you have to go over there and you have to come here and you two have to be on seperate teams blah blah blah" even if people do switch later on.

So teams can pick their names later but for now they are alpha and beta

great, when you figure out how to make mechwarrior support more than 2 teams you can join team rocket.

see its like everyone just knew how to make our summer suck.

damnit wayne we am waiting on you before we do any mechwarrior, and my summer has been pretty good, it has been a lot different from the past 10 or 11 years of doing the exact saem thing.

hey amos, just to tell u, i dun think ima pley mech warrior with u guys, im too lazy to master the controls...... lol

its really not hard, especially if you use my control setup, with mine it feels like average controls with like 2 or 3 extra buttons.
