Project 64

First: Those of you who do not know what project 64 is, it is an emulator that allows you to run Nintendo 64 games on your computer, and since Nintendo 64 games are made on simple stuff the games run almost flawlessly even on computers as bad as my current desktop. The link below in the post also contains the download link for project 64.

Second: Moving onwards, because we lack a lot of variety in our games, and more so we lack a multiplayer brawler and a multiplayer racing game I wanted to see if there was project 64 net-play, and it turns out there is!

so on the tutorial page: http://howtopj64k.tripod.com/ , you can find how to use net-play on that page (its faster to find it by using ctrl+F and searching the word net).

I think this is a way to get some more multiplayer games on our list, and considering how these games are not very cpu intensive (by any standards) I think that they would be easier to host on the net.

Some suggestions I have are:

Smash bros.
Mario Kart 64

(It's all I got off the top of my head).

Suggest anything you got.

Multiplayer brawler? Ermm...maybe we should try guilty gear or something? Anyways this belongs in the Hax section.

Never heard of project 64 sounds like a good idea a lil starfox 64 sounds fun I use to be (and still am) good at that game.
Well for a pc multiplayer brawler we could play melty blood (you can Hamachi it) or guilty gear as for a racer...well I dont know any.

Also maybe we could look into this http://www.vbalink.info/. Its a emulated gba link cable works for only a few games but still might be worth looking into.

I know about guilty gear, Isuka is awful - you have to manually turn and the others are meh, the gba link cable thing looks awesome.

The only bad thing about the vba link is the short list of games but hey at least advance wars and a few rpgs are on that list.
