qTox - Secure Chat Client

qTox is a desktop app that uses a P2P connection rather than a centralized server to send messages. We've got 4 of us using it already, so why not jump on the bandwagon.

ProZ:

• Everything's encrypted, so outsiders can't spy on your convos.
  
• It has voice and video calls, if you're into that sort of thing.
  
• You can randomize your Tox ID if you're getting harassed or spammed with friend requests.
  
• Lighter system footprint, at least compared to Skype(on average 50% less CPU and 10% less RAM)and Curse Voice(over 75% less RAM, curse is pretty bloated memory-wise)
  
  Cons:
  
• Group chat logs aren't automatically saved (you have to do it manually via right click copy or ye olde Ctrl C
  
• Due to the P2P connection, "queued" messages will only be sent when both parties are online.
  
• Seems like there's some bug with the Online/Away indicator, but doesn't affect actual performance.
  

You add people to your friends list via their Tox ID, which is a long hashcode like string. Once you've created an account and logged into the client, you can find out your Tox ID by clicking on your name. Here's a couple to start you off, post yours here once you sign up.
