abolish essays

i want to ask for a govt petition to abolish mandatory essays in all english classes. theyre of no worth. they have no influence unless you have power. people need to catch up with the times. its all about science and math. advance in technology, make life better, save resources. all you can do with an essay is get a potentially life-ruining grade because you simply dont have it in you to do a good job. with science, people can do many things, solve all sorts of problems, and be useful. essays cant be mandatory, they can ruin the grades of a super genius who is crazy good at science, but cant write a half-bad essay to save the universe, therefore getting rid of all of his potential contributions to the world. essays are mostly used to criticize, not build up, and they can infect innocence with corruption. please consider posting this in the forum.
