It has really been a while since I updated the announcements...better start timestamping stuff! -- May 19th, 2011
But actually I stopped because my announcements are too trivial and nonsensical to be worth remembering.
I leave the following line up for nostalgia purposes as well:

That original art for ability icons*. I don't see the draw in this, the actual MOBA is more compelling and complex than a fighting game. Fan made stuff like Melty Blood and Fatal/Fake I get, because the works they are based on aren't really games. Franchises like Blazblue and Guilty Gear stand by themselves with their own story and characters.

This thing has neither appeal, but at least it looks decent, and will probably sound decent too.

Apparently the makers of this got permission from RIOT games so there may be some simple assets used from the games like the icons.

I say this could be a decent game but it would only appeal to people who play LoL. And while the MOBA game may be good, there are people who don't like MOBA games at all and a fighting game could be a good substitute and could be used as an introduction into the main game.

They probably showed it off in such raw form for better publicity and possibly support via potential donations or volunteer programmers / artists.
